MYTHS & LEGENDS GO WRONG

"I believe in everything until it´s disproved. So I believe in faries, the myths,  dragons. It all exists even if it is only in your mind. Who´s to say that dreams and nightmares aren´t as real as the here and now."
                                                                                                           John Lennon

Last Friday 13th, students from years 4, 5 and 6 went to the Centro Social in Bueu to watch the play "MYTHS & LEGENDS GO WRONG"

Troy and Joy are two students who are coming back to school on a Monday. They are good friends and talk about their weekends. Troy quickly realizes that Joy has done a school project that he was not aware of.

He begins to panic over the project´s deadline. He convinces Jou to help him make his own project. Joy agrees and describes the topic of the project: Myths and Legends.

Troy only knows the legend of Finn McCool and decides to put him on every myth and legend.

Let´s watch some videos recorded from the play.

"I´ve come to the conclusion that mythology is really a form of archaeologycal pshychology. Mytholoy gives you a sense of what people believes, what they fear."

THE STORYTELLERS STRIKE AGAIN

Sam and Pam are two competing storytellers. Sam likes beautiful stories with princesses, palaces and nice dresses. Pam likes scary stories with action and monsters, At the beginning, they fight and try to impose their view of how the story should go. Pam starts telling the story of Red Riding Hood, She chooses this one because of the terrifying wolf. Sam has to act out the character of Red Riding Hood but he is not happy about how things are going so he takes Pam´s place and starts telling his favourite story of Cinderella. Neither of them is happy with the situation and they start arguing, They decide to compromise and put on a story combining beauty and beasts: The Beauty and The Beast.
