FOOD AND RECIPES

As part of this year’s school project “Healthy Food” the 5th and 6th graders have had several sessions for the introduction and practice of the new vocabulary related to the most common and healthy food as well as the linguistic structures necessary to talk about it. After this, they have discovered which are the main meals of the country of the linguistic auxiliary (United States); they have learnt the main procedures to cook as well as the main utensils used in the kitchen to attain the different dishes and the expressions for measures and quantities used in English, as a way to increase the lexicon of reference that allows them to understand and even to write recipes in English.
